Polish venture builder Daftcode has completed the renegotiation of its lease for office and retail space in Warsaw Spire. The tenant was represented in the negotiations by real estate advisory firm Cresa Poland.
Daftcode specializes in the creation of technological businesses. In the past eight years it launched about a dozen global businesses in such areas as payments, artificial intelligence and technological education. Daftcode’s portfolio also includes DaftCafe, which operates six cafés in Warsaw. Both companies were among the first tenants to sign up to Warsaw Spire.
In late 2019, Daftcode decided to extend the lease of its office space comprising the entire floorplate of almost 1,750 sqm on the 40th floor of Warsaw Spire. The company also renegotiated the lease of 230 sqm of retail space on the ground floor for the flagship coffee house DaftCafe, which opened there a couple of years ago. Daftcode and DaftCafe signed the new leases for another term of five years.

With 220 metres in height, Warsaw Spire is the tallest office tower in Poland. It offers a total of more than 71,000 sqm of leasable space. It is located by Daszyńskiego Roundabout, close to an M2 metro station. The owner of Warsaw Spire Tower is Austrian-based IMMOFINANZ.
