Alfasigma Polska remains at Equator II

Pharmaceutical company Alfasigma Polska has extended its lease agreement at Equator II in Warsaw. The tenant was represented in the deal by global real estate advisory firm Cresa.

Alfasigma occupies a 500 sqm office at Equator II. It was formed as a result of the merger of two leading Italian pharmaceutical groups Alfa Wassermann and Sigma-Tau. It operates in 18 countries worldwide, including the US, China, Russia and many European countries, and employs approximately 2,800 staff.

“The 2017 global merger of the two pharmaceutical giants boosted our further growth. We decided to remain at Equator II, but our office needs space rearrangement and a fresh makeover so that it fits in well with the nature of our business,” said Tomasz Sobczyk, Alfasigma.

Equator II is an office building in Jerozolimskie Avenue, one of Warsaw’s thoroughfares, in close vicinity of Ochota (Zawiszy Square) and Western Railway Stations. It offers more than 21,000 sqm of modern office space spread over its fourteen floors and over 250 parking spaces in a three-level underground car park. Its anchor tenants include Medicover, WSiP, Bluesoft, AON and Regus. The owner of the office building is Karimpol.
