Alstom Konstal S.A., a global leader in sustainable and smart mobility solutions, has renewed its lease of office space in the Warsaw Financial Center. The tenant was represented by real estate advisory firm Cresa Poland.
Alstom Konstal S.A. is part of the international group Alstom, the world’s leader in sustainable mobility, which in 1997 acquired a majority shareholding in Chorzowska Wytwórnia Konstrukcji Stalowych (Chorzów Steel Structure Plant, or Konstal). It is best known in Poland for manufacturing Metropolis trainsets for the Warsaw Metro, accounting for 25% of its rolling stock, and for delivering and servicing Pendolino, the first high-speed trains in Poland. The 20 Pendolino trains running across Poland, which cover a total of 21,000 km every day with stops in 34 cities, are serviced in the Alstom Technical Service Centre in Warsaw. Alstom Konstal S.A. has also delivered Metropolis trainsets to Saudi Arabia and Dubai, and Coradia trains to Germany and the Netherlands.
Alstom Konstal S.A. has its headquarters and the largest manufacturing plant in CEE in Chorzów. Its sales office is located in the Warsaw Financial Center, Emilii Plater Street in Warsaw, which will also house its CEE head office starting from 1 September.
