Cresa, the world’s largest tenant-only commercial real estate firm, has opened its third Polish office in the city of Gdańsk. The new office is headed by Michał Rafałowicz.
“Tricity’s commercial real estate market is going from strength to strength. The Tricity agglomeration is being targeted especially by BPO/SSC companies as more than 120 operational centres have already been set up there,” said Bartek Włodarski, Partner, Head of the Office Department at Cresa Poland.
Gdańsk is the third Polish city where Cresa has opened its office after Warsaw and Wrocław. Cresa’s office is located in Tricity’s most prestigious office complex – the Olivia Business Centre, which once fully built out will become Poland’s largest business hub offering 170,000 sq m.
“The rapid growth of the Tricity commercial property market is fuelled by robust activity of local and international developers. Recent surveys suggest that over 36% of company managers and directors consider Tricity as their main relocation destination. It seems that the only limit to investor expansion into the Tricity market is limited availability of office space for newcomers as companies already present there are experiencing double-digit annual growth,” said Michał Rafałowicz, Head of Pomeranian Region at Cresa’s Tricity Office.
Michał Rafałowicz is an experienced real estate specialist, especially in the industrial and warehouse market. Previously he worked in the Pomeranian Special Economic Zone. Michał is a licensed public procurement specialist and a graduate of the University of Szczecin. He also completed postgraduate studies at the University of Gdańsk, the Gdańsk University of Technology and Glyndŵr University in Wales.
The Tricity office of Cresa Poland was officially opened in December 2017.
