Countries such as Germany, Poland, and France dominate in terms of demand, accounting for the majority of leased warehouse space in the region. Although the number of new investments is decreasing, high developer activity is still observed in Italy, Poland, and France. Rising rental costs and a decline in tenant and developer activity have caused the vacancy rate in the EU to exceed 5% by the end of June 2024. The market is moving towards more sustainable solutions, which is becoming crucial for companies in the context of increasing environmental requirements.
