Cresa, the world’s largest occupier-centric commercial real estate firm, announced that veteran tenant representation real estate leader Greg Schementi will join the company in July 2022 as President.

Mr. Schementi will join Cresa in July 2022 after certain employment restrictions have expired. Thomas Birnbach, Vice Chairman of Cresa’s Board of Directors and acting President will continue to have strategic oversight over Cresa’s offices until Mr. Schementi arrives. He will then work closely with Mr. Schementi to transition the role.
In Mr. Schementi’s previous role as President, Americas Tenant Representation at Cushman & Wakefield, he led the Tenant Representation service line and oversaw their Strategic Consulting practice, Business Incentives function and International Service Desk.
Previously, Mr. Schementi managed the Portfolio Solutions practice for Cushman & Wakefield in the Americas, focusing on solution development and client care initiatives for occupiers of office and industrial assets. In prior roles, he led the brokerage businesses and business development functions for Cushman & Wakefield predecessors Equis, UGL & DTZ.
Mr. Schementi’s background includes framing end-to-end real estate solutions for corporations and government entities including portfolio strategy, transaction management, project management, data administration and facility management services. He started his career as a consultant, delivering supply chain engagements including network modeling, facility design, inventory management and production planning.
Mr. Schementi is an active member of CoreNet Global. He holds an MBA in Statistics and Operations Management from the University of Southern California and a BS in Finance from Villanova University. He resides in the Chicago area.
